There’s still time for end-of-year giving!
Please don’t hesitate to contact the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies if you are interested in establishing a new fund before the end of the year. Foundation offices are open through December 29th, and funds can be set up within 24 hours or less.
For new or current donors, please refer to the following dates for year-end giving to your fund:
Stock/cash transfers must be received in the Foundation’s account by Friday, Dec. 29th at 5pm. Please make the Foundation aware of your stock gift ahead of the transfer, so we know to look out for it.
Checks must be postmarked by Saturday, Dec. 30th.
Office hours through the holidays: We are closed Friday, 12/22 at noon, and all day Monday, 12/25. We will have normal office hours 12/26, 12/27, 12/28, & 12/29. We resume our normal schedule Tuesday, 1/2.
You’re welcome to reach out to Mike Kane (814) 225-1247 / firstname.lastname@example.org or Paula Hencel (814) 209-8663 / email@example.com with any questions, or to get started on your new fund.
If you’re at least 70.5 years young, you can use your IRA account to support the causes you care about — without suffering the usual tax consequences of IRA withdrawal. This tax incentive is an opportunity to provide substantial funding to our region’s cultural, educational, and economic landscape.
We’ll collaborate with you and your wealth adviser, so your charitable intentions have a lasting impact, with maximum tax benefits. Go here to learn more.
