INDIANA — Recently, the Bork Family Fund of the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies awarded grant funding to Literacy Links for Little Ones, Inc., a local nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting early childhood literacy.
Formed in 2008, Literacy Links provides parents with information on the long-term benefits of reading aloud to children. Literacy Links for Little Ones also offers parents the opportunity to receive a one-year subscription to Babybug, a magazine designed specifically for infants and toddlers. This literature is offered free of charge thanks to grant funding and donations.
Recently, Literacy Links for Little Ones reached a milestone by providing their 1,000th Babybug subscription to Carolyn Ludwig and her growing family. Congratulations!
