To provide a scholarship in the amount of $500.00 annually to a Westmont Hilltop High School senior student. The student selected is to be pursuing a major or minor degree in music. Mr. Kocher’s love of music inspired his family to create this endowment in 2007. Mr. Kocher conducted the Johnstown Reed Band for 25 years, was a clarinetist with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra for 20 years, music director at Franklin St. Methodist Church and choir director for the Westmont Church of the Brethren.
