The Community Foundation will be co-hosting four grant writing webinars in the coming months, made possible by our partnership with Candid. This programming is offered through CFA’s Nonprofit Resource Library, which provides free tools, training, literature, and access to more than 17 million grant opportunities through Candid’s Foundation Directory Online.

Helping to strengthen our local nonprofit partners is a key mission of CFA. “We feel like being able to offer these webinars to local nonprofits for free is invaluable because, even during times when we are unable to support worthy projects in our area, we can still support the work in some way by providing access to nationwide grant opportunities,” says Emily Wood, Operations and Grants Associate and Nonprofit Resource Librarian. “This type of education can help local nonprofits expand their grant writing skills and learn about what funders are looking for in a proposal. We already know about the great work being done in our community, but by offering these resources, we are helping local nonprofits get to that next level of organizational maturity.”
