The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies has named Emily Wood as its program associate. In her new position, Wood will help to manage and oversee several grantmaking processes on behalf of the Foundation, including the implementation of the new Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts program for Region 12 of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Wood, of Johnstown, joined the Foundation in 2020 as an administrative support associate before being promoted to grants administrator in 2022. The creation of the program associate position at the Foundation allows the organization to increase its capacity and impact within its grantmaking programs.
