We will get through this together.

We are here for you.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve been closely monitoring the effects of this international pandemic and doing all we can to consider how it may affect our friends and neighbors right here—now and in the coming weeks and months. One step we’ve taken is to help pull together a group of nonprofit leaders so that our approach is collaborative, so we avoid overlap and address gaps in funding, and so we can make the process of moving resources to where they are needed most as seamless and streamlined as possible.

Another important step we’ve taken is to establish an emergency fund: the COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund. (See the official press release HERE.) We started out with $200,000 from CFA and Lee Initiatives Health and Wellness Endowment, and we are actively inviting others to help care for our community at a time when it’s most critical. We are working hard to identify the needs, seen and unseen, and support front-line nonprofits, and we are deeply appreciative of the donors who are already stepping up to care for our community.

Organizations in need of emergency funding can CLICK HERE for information on how to apply, and please continue to check back for updated information as we work to address this fluid situation in the most responsive, responsible, and efficient way possible. As we move forward, new priorities may arise, and we anticipate that needs will change.

If you’d like to join those who are supporting the community in this time of need, you can make a simple, secure online donation by clicking the GIVE NOW button below. Every gift matters, and CFA is waiving all credit card and management fees—so 100 percent of your contribution will go to provide relief in our community.

Thank you for showing your love for your friends and neighbors. We will get through this together.
