Good Vibes Save Lives

Somerset County Suicide Prevention Task Force presents the sixth annual concert fundraiser at Laurel Arts Center in Somerset PA. There will be live music from some very talented local musicians. There will be a memorial walk for suicide loss survivors, a scrolling memorial wall as well as luminaria which will be lit at dusk to memorialize those loved ones lost to suicide. This year we will have a featured guest speaker, Jennifer Silbaugh, author of A Dove in the Shadows to discuss her lived experience story surrounding her 20-year battle with mental health issues. We will also have some new t-shirts for sale. There will also be many other local agencies and organizations providing community resources and information as well as informational sessions. We will have a food truck for people to purchase snacks, meals and drinks as well as an ice cream truck where the Somerset County Dairy Princess and friends will be scooping ice cream for a sweet treat during the early evening. We will also have some crafts and other activities for attendees and kids to participate in.
