This scholarship is awarded to a female senior at Windber Area High School who is pursuing a post-secondary education. In selecting a student, consideration should be given to a female student most impaired or having overcome a most personal adversity. Created as part of the 100 Families Project.

To provide an endowment that will benefit The Learning Lamp for general operating expenses or tutoring scholarships.
Leona Marian Scholarship Fund
To provide a $1,000.00 scholarship to each year’s graduating valedictorian at Conemaugh Township Area High School.

To provide support for charitable causes as advised by the donors.
Lester D. and Grace E. Kemerer Scholarship Fund
To provide a scholarship to a graduating senior from Salisbury-Elk Lick High School who has been accepted to and will be attending an accredited post-secondary educational institution. The Fund may also distribute to worthwhile nonprofit organizations.
Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference Fund
To provide support for activities for the member schools of the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference.
LivRed Foundation Fund
To provide support for causes that educate, inspire, and encourage people to choose kindness, which celebrates the memory of Olivia Catherine Red, who was tragically killed by a drunk driver in 2018, including providing funding for the Side-by-Side Award, a scholarship to recognize outstanding individuals who dedicate their time to fighting indifference, intolerance, and injustice.
John “Jack” and Georgetta Lochrie Memorial Scholarship Fund
To provide scholarships to graduating seniors from Windber Area High School who have been accepted to and will be attending either Saint Vincent College or Seton Hill University. If there are no eligible students, the scholarship amount will be awarded to the two students chosen as the winners of the Windber Rambler Lettermen’s Club Scholarship.
Loretta Stumpo Scholarship Fund
To benefit a student from Greater Johnstown High School with an annual scholarship.
Louise S. Atwell Memorial Music Scholarship Fund
To provide an annual scholarship for music or music education majors to a senior at Meyersdale Area High School.
Love Our City 814 Fund
To provide support for all efforts of Love Our City 814, a community-based initiative to provide programming and education for the Greater Johnstown region’s youth so that they are empowered to become productive members of the community.
Lucas Popernack Memorial Fund
To provide support for Somerset Area Ministries’ SAM Van program.
Luke Patton Memorial Foundation Fund
To support charitable efforts that reflect the life of Luke Patton, including but not limited to, providing opportunities for children and teens to learn to play the guitar, helping families who are dealing with the sudden and unexpected loss of a family member, and supporting myositis research and education.
Lymphedema Fund
To support organizations that assist residents of Bedford County that have been diagnosed with lymphedema.

M.J. Miller Family Agricultural Heritage Fund
To provide support for historic preservation, rural life, and agricultural heritage across Western Pennsylvania.
M. Ray Leckemby Memorial Scholarship Fund
To provide scholarship support in the amount of $2,000.00 annually for one male and one female graduating senior at Meyersdale Area School District ($1,000 per student). The deserving recipients are to be continuing their education by any post-secondary means and will be chosen by the Meyersdale Area Scholarship Committee.
Madame Trudy Banks Scholarship Fund
To provide an endowment which will create a scholarship to be distributed annually to a graduate of Portage Area High School who is pursuing an accredited post secondary education. This distribution shall continue annually for up to 4 consecutive years as long as the post-secondary school verifies that satisfactory progress is being made towards graduation.
Madeline Esposito Foundation for Diabetes Awareness Fund
To provide support for efforts that can prevent and cure diabetes, including research, patient treatment and education, and advocacy and awareness.
Majerski Fund
To provide support in equal amounts which will benefit the following specified agencies: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, the Covenant House, EWTN, Food for the Poor, and the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging. Created as part of the 100 Families Project.
Makayla’s Dream Scholarship Fund
To provide support for cosmetology students from low income families to obtain equipment and licenses required to enter into professional work.
Margaret M. Mekis Scholarship Fund
To provide a Greater Johnstown High School graduating senior with a scholarship to attend a two- or four-year post-secondary accredited institution of their choice. The recipient of the scholarship will be a student who shows fairness in dealing with peers, shows a willingness to serve others and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
Marie and Frank Slabe Scholarship Fund
To provide scholarships to graduating students of Johnstown High School who will attend a four-year liberal arts undergraduate college/university with the intention of attaining a bachelor of arts degree.

Martha P. Coleman Music Scholarship Fund
To provide a total of $1,000.00 in scholarship(s) annually to a graduating senior(s) from Somerset Area High School who has an affinity toward music and is furthering their education. Martha, better known as “Marty”, had a passion toward music and played the organ at Saint Francis in the Fields Church.
Mary A. DeArmitt Scholarship Endowment Fund for Shade Central City H.S.
To provide a scholarship for a graduating senior of Shade H.S. from Shade Township or Central City Boro who will be attending college with a declared major in education (preferable elementary or primary education).
Mary Alice (Hall) Mock Memorial History Award Fund
To support graduating seniors in Bedford County pursuing a post-secondary education at an accredited institution. The intent of the fund is to further the education of a young mind in developing valuable skills, either through a history major in college or a trade or vocational school utilizing and applying those talents in a profession dealing with preservation of American history.

Mary Jo Clark Helsel Scholarship Fund for Bishop McCort
This fund provides tuition scholarships to students attending Bishop McCort Catholic High School. Priority is to be given to a young woman who is from St. John’s Parish. If there is no eligible student, then it should be given to a young woman who is from Visitation Parish. If there is still no eligible student, then it should be given to a young man who is from either St. John’s Parish or Visitation Parish.
