DESCRIPTION:Festival of Books in the Alleghenies is a celebration of books hosted annually in a scenic region of Pennsylvania. The Festival brings together local and regional authors under a main and a children’s tent\, while storytellers\, poets\, and walking guides deliver live presentations around town. \nThe 2019 Festival of Books will be held in Somerset\, Pennsylvania\, and will begin with a Friday Evening Keynote Author Reception on September 20. The main festival will be held on Saturday\, September 21. \nTom McMillan\, author of Flight 93: The Story\, The Aftermath and The Legacy of American Courage on 9/11\, will be the keynote speaker at the Festival of Books’ Friday Evening Keynote Author Reception.
