SUMMARY:911 Trail Challenge
DESCRIPTION:To preserve the memories of the people who sacrificed in defending freedom on September 11\, 2001\, the National Trail Memorial Alliance\, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization\, is pleased to host the 911 Trail Challenge. \nThe event aims to raise awareness for creating and maintaining a 1\,300-mile multi-use trail that connects the New York City National September 11 Memorial and Museum\, the Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County\, PA\, and the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Arlington\, VA. \nThe Trail will serve as a catalyst for economic development by encouraging recreational and educational tourism in Maryland\, New Jersey\, New York\, Pennsylvania\, Virginia and Washington\, DC.
