SUMMARY:Holiday Home Tour
DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Old Westmont Holiday Home Tour features a mix of vintage and modern homes\, some recently remodeled\, and one undergoing restoration right now. All homes that are part of this year’s tour have never been on the tour previously. Join us for a first peek into a special Bauhaus style home on Tioga Street\, a brick beauty on Luzerne Street\, a welcoming and spacious home on Wayne Street\, the home of a local interior designer\, and a Bucknell Avenue Victorian. \nBrought to you by Old Westmont Neighbors and the Garden Club of Johnstown\, the tour takes place on Saturday\, December 6th. New this year\, two tour times will be offered\, at noon and 2 p.m. The ticket price is $35 per person. Proceeds benefit West Hills Regional Fire Department and other community projects. \nThe Garden Club of Johnstown will be hosting a holiday open house and Christmas market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Westmont Presbyterian Church Social Hall. Guests will check in there before departing for the tour. The open house and market will feature a display of gingerbread houses\, holiday tablescapes\, holiday centerpieces\, and an assortment of gift items. SUMMARY:Old Westmont Neighbors Holiday Home Tour
DESCRIPTION:You won’t want to miss the 2024 Old Westmont Holiday Home Tour. This year’s tour features five historic homes decorated for the season\, including several that have never been on display before. You’ll see Tudor-style\, Colonial\, and even a home that is reminiscent of a French Chateau. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the timeless character and craftsmanship of these beautiful homes\, meet homeowners\, and see unique decorations and vintage architectural details. You’ll also be able to stop by SEADS Garden Center\, a nonprofit job training program for people with barriers to employment. SEADS will offer wreathes\, garland\, and other holiday items. \nThe event takes place on Sunday\, December 8th from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets are available through the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies for $35. The featured homes are within walking distance on Luzerne and Wayne streets and Diamond Boulevard. Participants must pre-purchase tickets and check in at Studio U\, 828 Luzerne Street.
