DESCRIPTION:Hyatt’s 11th Annual Run with the Angels 5K and 1 Mile fun run/walk is quickly approaching!  It will be held Saturday morning\, September 7th\, 2024\, at the base of the beautiful Laurel Mountains of Western Pennsylvania in Jennerstown. \nSet at Pine Springs Camp\, the landscape is a beautiful 3.1 mile out and back course that weaves through gorgeous countryside.  The course features “Hyatt’s Hill” right after the half-way point.  This timed race begins sharply at 9:00 AM.

DESCRIPTION:Hyatt’s 9th Annual Run with the Angels…..Somerset County Style\n“Hyatt’s Run With the Angels” 5K course is a beautiful 3.1 mile out and back course at the base of the Laurel Mountains set at Pine Springs Camp in Somerset County\, PA. \nThis Annual Event is being hosted by the “Hyatt’s Angels” Foundation\, and all net proceeds will go to help provide need based financial and emotional assistance to families who have suffered the loss of a child. \nEarly registration runs through 11:59 pm on Monday\, August 22nd\, and includes a FREE RACE TEE. Late registration is from August 22nd through 11:59 am on September 9th. Race Day registration will be from 7:30 am to 8:30 am on Race Day\, Saturday\, October 16th. No shirt guarantee for late or race day registrations. \nCan’t participate and would still like to support our event and get a race shirt? Consider being a PHANTOM RUNNER (No participation required); shirts may be picked up on-site on race day. \nAwards will be given to the top male and female finisher\, as well as the top three male and female finishers in each age group: \n*Age Divisions (Male & Female)\n10-14\, 15-19\, 20-24\, 25-29\, 30-34\, 35-39\, 40-44\, 45-49\, 50-54\, 55-59\, 60-64\, 65-69\, 70+ \n*All children 9 & under receive a medal.

DESCRIPTION:The 5K Run/Fun Walk will follow a beautiful 3.1 mile out and back course at the base of the Laurel Mountains and is hosted by Hyatt’s Angels\, a not-for-profit charity established in 2012 to provide financial and emotional assistance to parents who have lost a child. \nWHEN: Saturday\, Sept. 8th beginning at 10am\nWHERE: Pine Springs Camp in Jennerstown\nCOST: $25 pre-registered\, $30 on-site. All participants will receive a Hyatt’s Angels t-shirt\, giveaways\, and refreshments. The winner of each age category will receive an award. \nTitle sponsor for the event is the Jennerstown Speedway.  Supporting sponsors are McAneny Brothers in Ebensburg and the Ligonier Giant Eagle. \nHyatt’s Angels was established in 2012 by Doug and Samantha Fleegle in memory of their infant son\, Hyatt Walker Fleegle. This special charity assists grieving parents by covering a child’s burial expenses and providing emotional support. Since the founding of Hyatt’s Angels\, the funeral expenses of 30 children have been funded. In addition\, Hyatt’s Angels made sizable contributions to the childcare center Hyatt Fleegle would have attended\, as well as to the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep photography service that works through hospitals with parents who lose an infant at birth. \nDoug Fleegle is a former Jennerstown resident and a graduate of North Star High School. Hyatt’s most recent gift was for Baby Mika Woodruff\, from Statesville\, NC\, who was delivered stillborn at 25 weeks on Thursday\, March 16th\, 2017.
