The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies is pleased to introduce its newest full-time employee, Katrina Perkosky. As Development Associate, Katrina assists with the administration of grants and scholarship programs, and will be working to cultivate the development of prospective donors to support their philanthropic interests in our community.
Katrina comes to the Community Foundation with a background in media, marketing and advertising. She spent six years with Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc., on her departure serving simultaneously as Editor of Johnstown Magazine and General Manager of the Creative Services Department of The Tribune-Democrat. More recently, she was both News Director and Creative Director at Forever Media, Inc. in Johnstown and also could be heard on-air as personality Trina Thomas, featured on the 96 Key Morning Show. Katrina lives in Jennerstown with her husband.
“Katrina is energetic, creative and motivated,” said Mike Kane, president. “Her skills and experience will be of great assistance in working with donors to achieve their goals. As the Foundation has grown, we have increased this position from part-time to full-time status, and we’re grateful that she has accepted this opportunity. We look forward to our donors getting to know her, and vice versa.”
