Carey Twins Scholarship Endowment Fund

To provide support for tuition for undergraduate students from the Greater Johnstown High School only. Each year, two four-year scholarships will be awarded. Students must submit a scholarship application to the Community Foundation at the beginning of their senior year and prior to applying to college. Winners will be announced no later than the end of November of the senior year. To maintain eligibility, recipients must attend the first two years at Pitt-Johnstown and years three and four at the Pittsburgh campus. The scholarship initially will be awarded to first year students and will be renewed annually provided the recipients transfer to the Pittsburgh campus after their second year and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 at Pitt-Johnstown and 2.0 at the Pittsburgh campus.

Carl and Anna Sherbine Elementary Education Scholarship Fund

To provide an annual scholarship to benefit Forest Hills High School students continuing studies in elementary education.

Carl “Bud” Teeter, IV Memorial Scholarship Fund

To provide scholarship support for a graduating senior softball player at Greater Johnstown School District.

Casey and Erin Craig Family Fund

A donor advised fund to support nonprofit organizations.

Catherine Riley Johns Scholarship Fund

To provide a scholarship to one or more kindergarten students at Johnstown Christian School.

Cecil and Rose Sipe Memorial Fund

To provide an endowment to benefit Laurel View Village. Created as part of the 100 Families Project.

Celebration Johnstown Fireworks Fund

To provide support for fireworks and entertainment for the 4th of July holiday.

Celebration Johnstown Fund

To provide support for Celebration Johnstown, a family-friendly event that takes place in downtown Johnstown on New Year’s Eve.

Centennial Flag Fund

Thirty-four years ago, the largest free-flying American flag was raised over the steepest vehicular inclined plane in the world. After years of wear and tear, the flagpole has to be replaced. The original Centennial Flag Committee has been reactivated to raise the necessary funds.

The cost to replace the flagpole is $70,000. Funds raised beyond that goal will be used to establish a perpetual fund for future care and maintenance and to purchase new flags.

Sponsorships are available as follows:

STAR – $750
OTHER AMOUNT – donations of any amount accepted

Those sponsoring a STAR or STRIPE/LEGACY FLAG will have their name of choice memorialized on a beautiful plaque at the Inclined Plane.

Individuals donating $100 or more will receive a signed certificate.

Children Are Precious Fund

To support families with infants and children with cancer, and nonprofit organizations whose mission is to research cancer treatments and cures; educate the public about research and treatments; and provide care and support to infants and children with cancer.

Christian Home of Johnstown Fund

To support any endeavor of the Christian Home of Johnstown to provide youth with guidance, shelter, and opportunities inspiring hope, maturity, and independence.

Christian Science Fund

Shall be for the promulgation of activities promoting the understanding and practice of Christian Science, as discovered by Mary Baker Eddy. Funds from this Trust may be distributed to individuals or groups in Cambria, Somerset, Bedford, Indiana, Blair, Westmoreland and Centre Counties, in accordance with the guidelines.

Christopher “Bub” Ream Scholarship Fund

To provide two annual scholarships for Somerset Area High School senior football players and to provide for other areas of community support.

Christopher T. Macey Fund for Mentally Challenged Individuals

To provide funds for camps or summer programs to benefit Cambria County ARC and Camp PARC in Somerset County.

Citizens to Save the Allegheny Mountain Fund

To provide support to protect the Allegheny Mountain from the current “Grey Cut” proposal, as well as any future proposals that would endanger, or harm, any natural resources including the following, but not exclusive to: the mountain view line, all watershed and recharge areas, all wildlife and habitats, flora, fauna, historical sites and items, currently known or yet to be discovered.

City of Johnstown Fire Department Fund

To support the purchase of new vehicles and equipment, and for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.

Clara Lasky Fund

To benefit the Special Olympics of Cambria County. Created as part of the 100 Families Project.

Clark Family Foundation Fund

To support the charitable goals of the donor and grant distributions to address community needs.

Claudia Mehall Memorial Scholarship Fund

To provide scholarship support for graduating seniors at Forest Hills School District who have been accepted into an accredited post-secondary education institution to study special education, psychology, social work, or a related major.

Clea and Levi Hollis Scholarship Fund

To provide an endowment which will provide a scholarship to a deserving minority academic student who is a graduating student from a high school in Cambria or Somerset County, a member of the Greater Johnstown Minority Scholars Club, and has been accepted to a college or university.

Clearfield Creek Watershed Association Fund

To provide an endowment, which will improve and protect the quality and the beauty of the Clearfield Creek Watershed, from the headwaters at Cresson, Pa to the mouth at Clearfield, Pa.

Clifford Maust Scholarship Award Fund

To award a graduating senior of the Salisbury-Elk Lick School District that has been accepted into a post-secondary education program.

Coach Larry Layton Memorial Scholarship Fund

To provide a scholarship for a graduating senior at Richland School District who is a member of the track team and also a well-rounded student.

Cody Lambert Memorial Fund

To provide support for first responders access to mental health care.

COGO Fund

To provide support for the Center for Oil and Gas Organization whose mission and charitable purpose is to be a strategic partner for frontline communities in liquified natural gas and interstate pipeline communities to engage in new federal agency, non-legislative advocacy. COGO creates an accountable, accessible throughline to key agency decision makers. COGO is leveraging the power of human relationships and frontline voices to shift the processes, permits and policies, surrounding US gas expansion approvals.

College in High School Scholarship Fund

To provide two $250.00 dual enrollment scholarships to two seniors attending Conemaugh Valley High School and an accredited institute of higher education.

To provide support for all efforts and activities of Northern Cambria School District.

Concert for Conservation Fund

To sponsor musical events in order to raise funding to support conservation and recreation organizations in Cambria and Somerset counties.

Conemaugh Township Activity Fund

To provide support for students in need to participate in sports and extra-curricular activities within the Conemaugh Township Area School District.
