Both courses will be used to raise funds for the Berlin Brothersvalley SD Foundation to be used to provide enrichment programs\, enhanced educational opportunities\, and scholarships for the students at Berlin Brothersvally. Carts and lunch are provided. Door prizes\, skill games\, and games of chance will be available. Golfers at all levels are invited to attend. \n***The Berlin Foundation does not serve alcohol at this event\, but beverages can be purchased by golfers from the golf course.

SUMMARY:Worth the Weight Race
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our fifth annual Worth the Weight Race set to take place Saturday\, August 8th in Old Westmont. We offer 5K\, 10K\, Kids Fun Run (WTW Kids!)\, and virtual options. \nWorth the Weight Kids! will start at 8 AM and our adult races (5K run/walk and 10K) will start at 8:15 AM.\nLocation is the same: 827 Diamond Blvd. Johnstown\, PA 15905 (bathrooms will be available on-site). \nAll routes will feature the quaint and scenic neighborhood of Old Westmont and was recently updated last year to include the beautiful Inclined Plane! Click here to watch a video tour of both our 5K and our improved 10K races (special thanks to Dean Banko of Only Eye Athletics for the video). \nWe will have food\, drinks\, and music\, as always\, as well as LOTS of prizes which will be announced at a later date. DESCRIPTION:We hope you will join us in celebrating our 36th Annual Founders’ Day\, which will be held on August 20\, 2026\, at The Grand Ballroom at Windber Recreation Park. The event will include dinner\, conversation\, and a presentation from our keynote speaker\, Dr. Joseph P. Croskey II. \nDr. Croskey is an educator\, veteran\, and international facilitator who helps individuals and organizations practice well-being and act compassionately. Dr. Croskey graduated from West Point\, completed Ranger School\, and served in the US Army as an Infantry officer for six years\, including service in Desert Storm. He sailed around the world with Semester at Sea. Dr. Croskey researched the benefits of mindfulness for his Ph.D. in Administration and Leadership from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He teaches leadership and well-being programs to a variety of organizations\, including the United Nations\, via the Peace on Purpose program. He strives to help people practice inner peace\, thereby creating a compassionate outer impact. You might say he’s an all-around adventurer on a mission to spread positivity and inspire others to be their best selves. \nWe are looking forward to spending time together and are confident you will leave the event uplifted and encouraged.
