SUMMARY:Hyatt's 12th Annual Run with the Angels 5K
DESCRIPTION:“Hyatt’s Run With the Angels” 5K course is a beautiful 3.1 mile out and back course at the base of the Laurel Mountains set at Pine Springs Camp in Somerset County\, PA. \nThis Annual Event is being hosted by the “Hyatt’s Angels” Foundation\, and all net proceeds will go to help provide need based financial and emotional assistance to families who have suffered the loss of a child. \nEarly registration runs through 11:59 pm on Monday\, September 1st\, and includes a FREE RACE TEE. Late registration is from September 2nd through 11:59 pm on September 20th. Race Day registration will be from 7:30 am to 8:30 am on Race Day\, Saturday\, September 20th. No shirt guarantee for late or race day registrations. \nPhantom Runners – \nCan’t participate and would still like to support our event and get a race shirt\, consider being a PHANTOM RUNNER (No participation required)\, shirts may be picked up on-site on Race Day. \nAwards – \nGiven to the top male & female finisher\, as well as the top three male and female finishers in each age group: \n*Age Divisions (Male & Female)\n10-14\, 15-19\, 20-24\, 25-29\, 30-34\, 35-39\, 40-44\, 45-49\, 50-54\, 55-59\, 60-64\, 65-69\, 70+ \n*All children 9 & under receive a medal.

SUMMARY:Good Vibes Save Lives
DESCRIPTION:Somerset County Suicide Prevention Task Force presents the sixth annual concert fundraiser at Laurel Arts Center in Somerset PA. There will be live music from some very talented local musicians. There will be a memorial walk for suicide loss survivors\, a scrolling memorial wall as well as luminaria which will be lit at dusk to memorialize those loved ones lost to suicide. This year we will have a featured guest speaker\, Jennifer Silbaugh\, author of A Dove in the Shadows to discuss her lived experience story surrounding her 20-year battle with mental health issues. We will also have some new t-shirts for sale. There will also be many other local agencies and organizations providing community resources and information as well as informational sessions. We will have a food truck for people to purchase snacks\, meals and drinks as well as an ice cream truck where the Somerset County Dairy Princess and friends will be scooping ice cream for a sweet treat during the early evening. We will also have some crafts and other activities for attendees and kids to participate in.
