DESCRIPTION:The Johnstown Symphony Orchestra has an amazing community orchestra that is open to adult players of all levels.  They will be performing their fall concert on November 19\, 2015 at 7:30 pm at St. David’s Lutheran Church\, 401 N. Main Street in Davidsville. \nThe Community Strings is a group of adult students of string instruments\, violin\, viola\, cello and bass under the direction of Elizabeth Pile.  Begun in the spring of 2009\, these players expressed interest in playing in a group similar to community bands in the area.  Since then\, the group\, which still includes many original members\, has grown not only in numbers but also in quality.

The goal of the Child Advocacy Center is to provide a neutral\, safe\, child-friendly environment for the investigation\, intervention and treatment of child abuse in order to reduce further trauma experienced by child victims.
