DO NOT PURCHASE 4 SINGLES AND EXPECT TO BE A TEAM. \nThe Luke Patton Memorial Foundation was established in 2021 when our son and brother passed away due to complications from a rare disease known as Myositis. During our darkest days\, we were determined to leave a positive legacy that would honor Luke’s kind spirit and love for music\, and it has turned into a celebration! This year’s event is on June 6\, 2026\, at Berkley Hills Golf Course. In addition to a 9-hole scramble tournament\, there will be a longest drive competition\, basket raffle\, kid’s crafts and games\, silent auction items\, music\, food\, drinks and ice cream! As we continue coordinating this growing family-friendly event\, it is our hope that you will consider sponsorship in some way and come enjoy the day. You do not have to golf to come visit with us and share in the festivities. \nSponsorship proceeds will be divided into three main outreach efforts: \n1. To provide families with support who have experienced a sudden loss during the holiday season \n2. To encourage children & teens’ passion for music\, especially guitar\, through lessons & equipment \n3. To contribute to Myositis research\, education\, and advocacy efforts \nThe 2025 tournament filled quickly\, with 208 individual golfers. DESCRIPTION:This annual walking event is held the first Saturday of June from 9am to 12 noon at Trojan Stadium. JWOH offers support for cancer patients\, recognizes cancer survivors and raises money through donations\, concession stand and basket raffles. JWOH provides financial support to children and adults in our area who are in cancer treatment. Starting as a grass-roots organization in 2016\, we’ve supported thousands of applications for gas\, travel\, food\, utility bills\, medications and MANY other needs. When we say we KEEP HOPE CLOSE TO HOME! we mean that your donation\, whether large or small will directly go to the mission and needs of the people who need in\, right here in our local community.\nWe appreciate ALL the people who come to walk\, those to donate and those who help to spread the word about the Johnstown Walk of Hope!

The event will include dinner\, conversation\, and a presentation from our keynote speaker\, Dr. Joseph P. Croskey II. \nDr. Croskey is an educator\, veteran\, and international facilitator who helps individuals and organizations practice well-being and act compassionately. Dr. Croskey graduated from West Point\, completed Ranger School\, and served in the US Army as an Infantry officer for six years\, including service in Desert Storm. He sailed around the world with Semester at Sea. Dr. Croskey researched the benefits of mindfulness for his Ph.D. in Administration and Leadership from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He teaches leadership and well-being programs to a variety of organizations\, including the United Nations\, via the Peace on Purpose program. He strives to help people practice inner peace\, thereby creating a compassionate outer impact. You might say he’s an all-around adventurer on a mission to spread positivity and inspire others to be their best selves. \nWe are looking forward to spending time together and are confident you will leave the event uplifted and encouraged.

DESCRIPTION:“Hyatt’s Run with the Angels” 5K course is a beautiful 3.1 mile out and back course at the base of the Laurel Mountains set at Pine Springs Camp in Somerset County\, PA. \nThis Annual Event is being hosted by the “Hyatt’s Angels” Foundation\, and all net proceeds will go to help provide need based financial and emotional assistance to families who have suffered the loss of a child. \nEarly registration runs through 11:59 pm on Monday\, August 23rd\, and includes a FREE RACE TEE. Late registration is from August 24th through 11:59 pm on September 18th. Race Day registration will be from 7:30 am to 8:30 am on Race Day\, Saturday\, September 19th.
