This is a gravel road bicycle race from Addison Pennsylvania. The 53 mile long course with over 40 miles of gravel and 6’000 accumulative vertical feet will take you up and over the highest point in the State\, Mount Davis. Come for the challenge and stay for the fun! The name says it all. Will you be one of the Quick (fast) or one of the Dead (not so fast)? \nThis is a Nonprofit event with all of the proceeds being distributed to the Local Volunteer Fire Departments of Somerset County that support the local townships and boroughs along the course. The venue will be held at the Addison VFD’s event building on the National Pike. Food & Entertainment will follow the race event. The Addison VFD will be receiving the largest percentage of the proceeds for hosting the event.\nAll fundraising is being done on behalf of the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies (CFA) Mt. DESCRIPTION:The Johnstown Concert Series has been bringing world-class musicians to Johnstown since 2005. Now in its thirteenth season\, the series continues to evolve. \nFeatured musicians for this date: The Three Rivers Saxophone Quartet \nThe Three Rivers Saxophone Quartet was formed in May 1973 to explore the wealth of literature written for such quartets. At that time the members were students at Duquesne University\, but they have kept the group together over the years. The repertoire has expanded to include music from the Renaissance and Classical offerings to Ragtime and Jazz; as well as original compositions written especially for the group\, which includes Warren Yeckel\, Baritone Saxophone; Mike Jacob\, Alto Saxophone; Steve Ehrin\, Tenor Saxophone; and Marino Galluzzo\, Soprano Saxophone. \nTickets are $10 for seniors\, $5 for students\, $15 for adults\, and $25 for couples.

The Chatham Choir\, directed by Stacey Brett Conner\, has traveled locally\, as well as to locations such as New York City\, Baltimore\, Washington DC\, and West Virginia.
