SUMMARY:Berlin Brothersvalley Foundation Golf Scramble
DESCRIPTION:The Berlin Brothersvalley School District Foundation is planning a Golf Scramble to be held at Northwinds Golf Course and the Peninsula Course on Saturday\, August 5\, 2023. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. Tee time is 9:00 a.m. Registration fee includes lunch and a cart. \nOur Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of education. The proceeds of the Golf Scramble benefit our students by way of financial resources for educational programs and scholarships for graduates. This past year students in grades k-12 participated in enrichment programs\, requested and facilitated by our teachers\, that were offered during the school day\, after school\, and in the summer. High school programs included virtual sheep brain and hands-on biology dissection\, a trip to the theater for 9th grade students\, and the publication of student books. Students in grades 2-8 enjoyed the after-school LEGO League and robotics competition. Middle school students participated in a Classroom Economy program. Foundation funds also support a well-attended summer MAKE Camp for elementary and middle school students that provides students with opportunities to develop engineering skills. Advanced Placement Test reimbursement for high school students was funded by the foundation. We are also helping to send 3 disadvantaged students to Camp Soles for a week this summer. Approximately $15\,067 was donated by the BBSD Foundation over the past year to provide these opportunities and experiences for students at Berlin Brothersvalley.

DESCRIPTION:Berlin Brothersvalley 7th Annual Clay Shoot \nThe Berlin Brothersvally School District is planning its 7th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot. \nThis shoot will consist of 50 rounds through 7 stations with food and beverages provided beginning at noon. Competition and skill prizes will be awarded and games of chance will be available. \nGroups\, including sportsmen’s clubs\, are invited to send teams of 4. Individual particpants will be grouped into 4 member teams. The winning team will be awarded a Traveling Trophy that will stay with your club or team for a year and be returned for next year’s event. The winning team will also win a $100 cash prize. \nWalk-ins are welcomed\, but pre-registration is preferred by May 5\, 2023. Ages range from 4th grade through adult\, men’s\, women’s and co-ed brackets; pre-registration is required. \nAs always\, our fantastic homemade concessions are available; this year sees the return of handmade pierogis! \n
